Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions listed below are applicable solely for all products and services provided by Stewart and Smart, hereafter referred as “our garage” and “we”. Stewart and Smart is based at 8-16 Stirling road, Milnathort Kinross KY13, 9XG United Kingdom.

We ask our customers to go through all the terms and conditions listed below in detail as these points will regulate all transactions related to products and services in our garage.

Online product and service bookings 

All bookings and purchases made online will be confirmed only after the completion of the entire payment, which will include VAT, labour charge and other essential taxes. Further, we require the complete right to postpone or cancel any booking if a particular product is out of stock or if we fail to provide a particular service due to lack of resources or technical issues at our garage. If so, we will initiate a complete refund of the paid amount, or else, provide a fresh appointment for a service and alternative products as convenient.

Returns and refunds

Customers should note that if a particular product is already installed in your vehicle, we cannot initiate any return or refund policy. However, if any issue arises with a newly bought product, you can come to us and buy a replacement while we send the defective product to the manufacturer for inspection. If the manufacturer confirms that there were some factory defects with the product, we will process a complete refund of the replacement amount.

Estimation of costs

Any cost estimation that we offer for respective services after inspecting your vehicle is subjected to change. While repairing a particular car part, if our experts across additional defects and have to carry out other essential repairs, you will be subjected to pay extra costs as necessary. However, our garage provides prior information to the customers and proceeds only after receiving a confirmation.

Cancellation policies

All cancellation of appointments and requests of re-scheduling are subject to our availability. Further, if customers need to cancel an appointment or re-schedule it, they should inform us at least some days before the scheduled date so that we can negotiate an adequate alternative or initiate a refund without any hassle.


For any service or product, our garage accepts payment in cash, debit card/credit card or any other recognised payment cards. If any product is bought online, customers should pay the entire amount while placing the order. However, for most services, we require you to pay a certain amount against your booking confirmation while the rest can be paid after the completion of the service. 

Guarantee claims

In order to claim a guarantee benefit for OEM and other products, customers should mandatorily furnish the payment invoice as proof of purchase. However, the confirmation of the claim will be subjected to a series of inspection to identify the cause of the issues and nature of damages.

Updating terms and conditions

Our garage holds absolute right to bring about changes or updates in the given terms and conditions if deemed necessary.
